Welcome to English III
Welcome to your English III class. On this page, you will find your syllabus, weekly assignments, journal questions, novel questions, and a way to reach your instructor. Some key components of the English III course include: a focus on a wide range of literature, the reading of the novel Night by Elie Wiesel, a career exploration project, weekly SAT vocabulary, and daily journaling.
As we proceed, it will be important for you to begin to recognize the historical context of what you are reading. It is also important that you become proficient in leading discussions, asking pertinent questions, and participating in class discussions.
Finally, above all, it is my hope that you will enjoy the process! Reading the thoughts and ideas of people that have come before us give us all ideas for the future. You are the future!
